The profit of Hub Power Company Limited has declined to Rs 651.721 million in the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 775.236 million in the corresponding period in 2007. The company's earning per share stood at Rs 0.56 in the period under review against Rs 0.67 in the same period last year.
According to the financial results, the total turnover of the company increased to Rs 15.965 billion in this period against Rs 10.227 billion in the same period a year back. On the other hand, operating cost increased to Rs 14.797 billion in this period against Rs 9.105 billion in the same period previously
