          The company has nearly doubled the gross and net profits on YoY basis. There has been decline in the Dec 07 quarter over Sep 07 due to changes in stock market trend. The mutual fund now manages Rs 704 Billion Rupees the highest in the country. The investment by Eton Park in the current for 5% if stake in Asset Management Company at Rs. 5 Billion has opened up a huge valuation basis for the company. The schemes managed by the mutual fund arm have done extremely well having given 1213.5% return in 5 years term having been able to beat the market indices and crating a record of sorts in the process. The life insurance business has also doubled its premium collection in the year while the general insurance premium collections have trebled in the year so far.

      The company plans to enter in Asset Reconstruction Business and also plans to      mark its debut in consumer finance segment. In its retail financing under consumer finance the company disbursed INR 15 bn in Q3FY08.The company is planning to increase its loan book by disbursing INR 100-150 bn in FY09-FY10.In Retail business RCL plans to pour 5-6 bn in next two years. The Market share of Reliance general insurance is 18% in FY08 against10% in FY07.  RCL plans to launch an offshore fund for investments in India and the overseas markets. RCL recently launched Reliance Natural Resources in January and expects to earn around 25 Bn from this fund offering.


The company has clearly demonstrated the organizing skills of Anil Ambani. Such of the investors who believe in his USP can go long term even at this price. It is an excellent stock for traders. The zone where the investors can accumulate the stock is between Rs.1600a nd Rs.1750. The stock is expected in a sideways range between 1600 and 2250. To make good returns in a short span RCL is the best buy. Short term investors can hold the stocks for next two months to get a good yield.
